N.B. Whilst every effort will be made
to supply preferred choice of model, no
guarantee can be given. The rates above
are valid throughout 2008 on all
bookings made through 3X Travel and
their subsidiaries. Ford KA is
only suitable for 2 people and 2 pieces
of luggage.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
- All car hire prices shown above
are fully inclusive of unlimited
mileage.
- Collection/delivery to at the
Port, Airport or your accommodation
- All cars are fitted with seat
belts, radio/cassette and most have
a sunroof or air conditioning.
- 24-hour breakdown service.
- Insurance includes unlimited cover
of public and passenger liability,
plus property damage. Cover for loss
by fire and theft is also included.
See important note below in respect
of collision damage insurance.
WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
- Jersey Fees only - Licence Fee £4.00
per rental and Vehicle Registration
Duty (VRD) £1.00 per day (To be
paid locally to Avis).
- Petrol approx 1/2 a tank at the
current Jersey/Guernsey pump price.
- Collision Damage Insurance is payable locally to Avis
- Jersey Only - GST (Goods
& Services Tax) - All vehicles
collected on or after 1st May 2008
are subject to 3% GST
AGE LIMITS
- Drivers must be a minimum of 20
years of age and must have held a
full driving licence for a minimum
of 12 months.
- Drivers over 80 years can hire
from Avis, but must provide their
own fully comprehensive insurance
cover.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
All named drivers are insured for
third party liability. Collision Damage
Insurance (CDI) is a comprehensive
policy that may be purchased at the time
of hire which exonerates the clients
from any damage to the vehicle except in
the following circumstances:
- An excess of £250 will be charged
for damage to vehicles in Groups A,B
& C and £350 for Groups D, E, J
& K where the client(s)
is/are at fault in an accident
whether or not a third party vehicle
is involved;
- CDI cover may be invalidated if
the hirer(s) is/are in breach of the
island motor traffic law and/or the
car rental company's conditions of
hire and under such circumstances
the hire(s) may be liable for the
full repair/replacement cost of the
vehicle.
OPTIONAL EXTRAS (to be paid locally
to Avis)
- Extra drivers at £6.00 per hire
- Baby seats £3.00 or booster seats
£1.00 per day
