sandy bay of Grouville. The famous
Jersey Pottery is nearby & at the
north east end of the bay lies the
picturesque harbour at Gorey, nestled
beneath the historic Mont Orgueil
Castle. The port of Gorey with its
popular bars and restaurants is a ferry
terminal for boats & day excursions
to the adjacent Normandy Coast. The
original granite farm buildings of the
hotel date back to 1636 & the public
rooms have retained a traditional style,
whilst the rest of the accommodation is
of a spacious and modern design. The
Beausite is the idyllic spot for the
traveller who wishes to be away from the
hustle & bustle of town life yet
near to the many local attractions.
